We share one soul, but when it comes to the ritual of heat, steam and sweat, we offer two completely different universes. At Hotel Lech, you enter an ancient inspired hideaway. A world so deliberately contrary to the classic Arlberg aesthetic that it feels like a secret club. Residenz Chesa Rosa serves as the modern counterpoint: clean lines and pure clarity. 

Whether a guest at Hotel Lech or Residenz Chesa Rosa, these two micro worlds provide one shared mission: deep relaxation and a total system rejuvenation. Including, of course, a very life affirming mountain spring shower. And when sweating and steaming are no longer quite enough: a professional massage.

Sometimes the mountain wins. That happens even to the best. When the sauna and steam bath are no longer sufficient, professional massages from genuinely gifted hands are available here in Lech. Full body or partial, sports massage or reflexology-whatever the overworked muscles demand after a day on the Arlberg, the massage professionals at Hotel Lech can deliver. All massages are available on request and subject to a fee. Best reserved directly at the time of booking or at reception. Every single fibre will be grateful. Promised.

Everything is ready for the alpine retreat. A lovingly prepared wellness basket awaits in the room, stocked with everything needed for a proper withdrawal into the wellness micro cosmos: fluffy robes, soft slippers and sauna towels for the stay in Lech am Arlberg.

  • Sauna & Steam Bath: Open daily from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm. 
  • Massages: By appointment only. Best reserved directly at the time of booking. Spontaneou ookings at reception are of course also possible
  • Spa Area: Exclusively for hotel guests. 
  • House Rules: Towels in the sauna and steam bath are mandatory. Relaxation areas are to be enjoyed at whisper volume. Massages should be booked in advance as spontaneous availability cannot always be guaranteed.

Recovery in the Arlberg mountains follows its own pace. At Hotel Lech in Lech am Arlberg well being is defined by atmosphere and the luxury of two: two houses with two separate spa areas. Located at 1450 metres in Dorf 263 the estate offers a calm counterpoint to the intensity of the best ski resort in Europe. No matter the season or the weather outside, the house remains a sanctuary.

The wellness areas in both Hotel Lech and Residenz Chesa Rosa provide saunas, steam baths and quiet relaxation spaces that allow the body to return to factory settings after a day on the Ski Arlberg slopes or the vast Austrian Alps trails. 

The rhythm remains simple. Movement outdoors in the fresh air of the Alps, warmth indoors and enough time to slow down between both. Combined with a gourmet breakfast and evening Soulfood dining the experience supports both physical and mental complete surrender.

For generations the Wingelmayr family has understood that true regeneration at high altitude is shaped by the environment. The result is a form of alpine well being that feels entirely natural and cozy. Unique by nature. Distinctly Lech.

Things are being taken apart, drilled into, rebuilt. Then built again. And yes, even hung.
A complete revamp of nine rooms.

Oak floors. Underfloor heating. Colour.
Wingi’s design, with a touch of mischief.

Which also means the house remains unfortunately closed this summer.
