FAQ

Everything You Want To Know

Sometimes, it’s the tiny details that bridge the gap between a ‘trip’ and a ‘homecoming’. To keep packing and arrival in Lech am Arlberg effortless, here is our bundled house wisdom for a relaxed stay. Facts settled, focus free for soul food and mountain love at the Arlberg.

Two Houses | One Soul

Hotel Lech &Residenz Chesa Rosa - think of them as siblings standing shoulder to shoulder. The kind that like each other. Both houses have their own Spa micro-worlds for rejuvenation and regeneration. The social heartbeat is at Hotel Lech. This is where our breakfast buffet and evening menus are served, accompanied by the delicious Austrian Wine, Cocktails, Champagne, Schnaps… that lead to very long conversations and very good nightcaps.

Rates & Inclusions

Good stories need no frills only depth. Rates at Hotel Lech and Residenz Chesa Rosa are per person per day and include everything that makes the heart beat faster at the Arlberg:

  • Gourmet Breakfast Buffet: The legendary buffet at Hotel Lech fuels the day on the Arlberg. Regional treats, homemade specialities and Andreas' muesli by secret family recipe. Beware addiction.
  • Half-Board: A refined four course choice menu combining alpine classics with fresh ideas. Grounded, refined and prepared with great care.
  • Soul Food: After a day on the slopes the house offers homemade cakes. Rosa would have it no other way. A ritual for happily tired muscles.
  • Après and Wellness: Into the sauna to sweat or the steam room to steam out, top it off with a life affirming mountain spring shower. Regeneration for body and mind.
  • Fireplace and incredible comfortable Sofas: When the Arlberg day turns into evening, everyone starts to gather around the fire. A glass of wine, a cocktail and time that is allowed to stand still.
  • Toys Rooms: Heated boot racks for warm and dry shoes of all kinds, lockable ski and bike room with tinkering corner including e-bike charging station, golf bag storage and any other mountain toy we haven’t mentioned.
  • Arlberg E-Energy: One EV charging station directly at the hotel keeps the battery fresh for the journey home (fee applies).
Dinner | Half-Board

If you prefer to spend the evening at ease, half board is your guarantee to stay exactly where you are. A lovingly prepared four course menu that combines alpine classics with a refined grounded approach served in a calm candlelit setting. For many the only real decision left is the right wine for the main course. Wednesdays are always Fondue night!

Allergies & Dietary Requests

Whether gluten-free, vegan or lactose-free, we do our best to find suitable solutions. Please note that we are not a certified allergen hotel. As this requires additional care in the kitchen, a surcharge applies.

The best approach is to let us know at the time of booking.

Ski Pass & Lech Card

In winter, the Ski Arlberg pass opens access to 305 kilometres of interconnected pistes. The largest interconnected ski resort in Austria. In summer, it becomes the Lech Card for cable cars, hiking buses and selected experiences across the region.

Both are available directly at reception. No queues, no surcharge, just more Arlberg.

Hotel Lech Accomplice | Making Moments Into Stories

This is a house for people who appreciate the distinctive. Whether it’s a family gathering, a weekend with friends or a moment meant for two, we take care of the small things so you can focus on the unforgettable ones.

  • Accomplice of Surprises: We do discreet planning in the background – from proposals to big birthdays.

Dog | We’re Obsessed!

Mountain love belongs to four paws, too. Dogs are welcome upon request for a daily fee. While loyal companions stay out of the main restaurant, they are usually welcome in the Andrea Stüble. Fini, our resident expert, has already scouted the best sniffing spots.

  • Pre-Check: Dogs are welcome after upon request. A call or email is all it takes.
  • The Territory: Loyal companions stay out of the main restaurant, but check with us for ‘Andreas Stüble’.
  • Surcharge: A daily fee applies (BYO food!).
Location & Arrival | The Path to Lech am Arlberg

Perched slightly above the village, we offer the best of both worlds: the action (lifts and shops) is a five-minute stroll away, yet the quiet remains intact.

  • By Air & Rail: Zurich is the favourite (shuttle service available). Innsbruck is the rail classic, bringing you to Langen or St. Anton am Arlberg. Munich, Friedrichshafen and Memmingen are also options.
  • By Car: Crucial - in winter, the road between Warth and Lech is closed. If your GPS tries to send you that way, ignore it! The detour is 2+hours.
  • Winter Tyres: A legal requirement from 1st Nov. Snow chains are like an umbrella: hope you don’t need them, but be glad they’re in the boot.
  • Parking: High-altitude sleep for your car in our underground garage (fee in winter, free in summer). EV charging is available for a fresh breeze in your battery.
Parking

Your car rests in the underground garage, protected and ready - with parking available subject to space availability. In winter, a fee applies. In summer, parking is complimentary. EV charging is available directly at the house.

Late Check-Out | Departure Shower

If you find the mountain air too addictive to depart at 11 AM, we offer a Late Check-Out until 3:00 PM (subject to availability, surcharge applies). For those who want one final run on the Schlegelkopf before the drive home: you are welcome to use our Departure Shower even after you have officially vacated your room.

Late Check-Out - because good days should last longer

Sometimes saying goodbye to Lech am Arlberg just isn't easy. For those who would like to extend their departure day a little longer (upon request and subject to availability):

Until 3:00 PM: €50 per person and room

Cancellations & Travel Insurance | When Life Happens
  • Cancellations: Sometimes plans change through no fault of your own. Our cancellation terms are defined in your individual offer, but to keep the drama on the stage and out of your holiday planning, we always recommend travel insurance.
  • Travel Insurance | Europäische Reiseversicherung. It is the simplest way to ensure that a change in circumstances doesn’t become a headache. Hand on heart, we use this very insurance ourselves.
Digital Detox | High-Speed WiFi

High-speed WiFi is available throughout the house for those who need it. For those who prefer to disconnect, the fireplace remains the most reliable signal interruption.

Laundry Service | Mountain Fresh

Whether it was a muddy bike adventure or an epic powder day that tested your gear, we can handle the aftermath. Drop your laundry with us, and it will be returned to you fresh and ready for the next peak.

Payment Methods | Ending Without Stress

Good stories should end without administrative friction. We accept cash, debitcards, and major credit cards (Visa & Mastercard), as well as bank transfers. It’s as simple as that.

Unique by Nature | Questions, Answered

The daily rhythm in Dorf 263 is centered around the dining room at Hotel Lech, where the gourmet breakfast and winter soulfood dinner are served for guests of both houses. Access to the Ski Arlberg region begins in the village centre of Lech am Arlberg, located just five leisurely minutes from the house. To bypass any queues in the village, Ski Arlberg passes and the Lech Card are issued directly at reception without any surcharge.

Safe arrival at 1450 metres requires attention to the specific alpine conditions. The seasonal closure of the road between Lech and Warth is absolute, meaning the only winter route leads via the Flexen Pass. While winter tyres are a legal requirement, the Arlberg climate often demands snow chains, which should always be carried as a precaution. Once the car is settled in the underground garage or connected to the EV charging station, the focus shifts to the house amenities. From the private wellness worlds in each building to the Dog friendly welcome in the Andrea Stüble, every detail reflects the independent, family run spirit of the estate.

FAQs Hotel Lech | Everything You Want to Know | Lech
Refining. For you.
Big things are underway.

A new website. A new logo. Fully refurbished rooms.
2026 is taking shape.

Things are being taken apart, drilled into, rebuilt. Then built again. And yes, even hung.
A complete revamp of nine rooms.

Oak floors. Underfloor heating. Colour.
Wingi’s design, with a touch of mischief.

Which also means the house remains unfortunately closed this summer.

We are, however, very much here. Always.
For bookings. For questions. For a lovely conversation, gladly. A phone call always works. Emails too.

As soon as the last craftsman has packed up and the snow settles and stays, the doors open again.
Most likely blissfully free of construction debris by then.

UNIQUE BY NATURE. DISTINCLTY LECH.
