Skiing is Our Being | It’s our DNA
Skiing | Lech am Arlberg
If you look closely in the stairwell, you’ll find an endearing little photo of Grandma Rosa. There she sits in the spring grass, her wooden skis beside her and old leather boots laced tightly, absolutely beaming. It was mountain love back then, just as it is today. For us, the Arlberg and the snow are part of our very DNA; a love handed from one generation to the next. It is the inherited knowledge of how that one perfect moment feels - the moment the rest of the world simply stops turning. We are a ski hotel in Lech with the spirit of the mountains in our soul.
This is where alpine skiing was born. Hannes Schneider pioneered the Arlberg technique here, establishing the first ski school in the world. Lech am Arlberg is not just a ski resort. It is the cradle. The origin. The place where it all began.
But to us, it is simply home.
Ski Arlberg | Best of Alps
Ski Arlberg is big. Very big. 305 kilometres of pistes, 88 lifts, and everything connects: Lech, Zürs, St. Anton, Warth, and Stuben. The largest contiguous ski area in Austria.
The ski hotel in Lech am Arlberg sits right in the thick of it. No Ski In, Ski Out - except via the Madloch. What we offer instead: a leisure Walk In & Walk Out with five minutes to village centre where the Schlegelkopf and Rüfikopf are to be found.
The Arlberg counts among the Best of Alps. A ski holiday at the Arlberg at Hotel Lech is: Unique by Nature. Distinctly Lech. You will see.

Very Lech.

Classics:
The White Ring & Der Lange Zug
A must for any ski holiday in Lech. Some descents are more than just snow and gradient. They are the Arlberg stories you'll rave about at home.
Freeride, Ski Touring &

Freeride at the Arlberg: 200 Kilometres of Freedom
Anyone who burns for freeride at the Arlberg inevitably ends up in Lech Zürs. It is the number one destination for off piste enthusiasts across the entire Ski Arlberg area. Around 200 kilometres of high alpine terrain await here. From the legendary Mohnenfluh runs to the wide Zürser Täli. Powder from December to April, north facing slopes, and spring corn snow. On top of that, Lech offers Austria's only heliskiing spot (to the Mehlsack or the Orgelscharte). A ski hotel in Lech, in a village with extraordinary ski passion.
