Our sno-woodoo-dance was very efficient. We are enjoying a mixture between have snow-falls and bright sun-shine with nice, freezing tempertures arround -10°C.
Thursday the 6th of December is the magic opening date for the ski-lifts – as you know by now – we are open 365 days a year :-)!…
Snow fun
Did you know that 1 m³ of artificial snow costs between € 3,– and € 5,–? My calculation for the area of Lech is € 5.000.000,– to produce this precious white….
Here are the high-lights for the ski-winter 2013:
December 8th: cineastic gondolas: short movies, visual art, performances on 3 levels between 1.444 an 2.350 m
7. – 8. December: snow + safety conference: learn about risks off-piste, get news and informations from the ski-industrie romantic markets on each week-end in December before Christmas
December 31st, fireworks all over. Lech is celebrating into the New Year with lots of fun and love
January 19th. THE RACE – THE WHITE RING very famous race – longest distance in the alps. Training for your personal best-form with Marc Girardelli and Patrick Ortlieb
25. – 27. January Snow + safety – the camp: learn about correct behavour off-piste you should never miss the torch-light runs – once a month
16. – 24. march: wintergolf: the green is white and you play with orange balls… in the mystic area of Zug
NEW: 1. – 24. April: Arlberg-dancing-café: à-pres-ski as it used to be for our best agers. Enjoy Jazz, Swing + Soul in the whole village. Every day another band on another terrace
21. April Mountain-trophy: the-wingi-give-you-wings-team will give everything in this race again: cycling to Zürs – touring up Seekopf and Madloch, ski down to Zug, jogging to the Sportpark and back to the “Postgarage”. And all this after a long, intensive season :-)!
