Weihnachten im Hotel Lech
Und warum wir uns auf Weihnachten so freuen.
Die Wurzel muss wohl in unserer Kindheit liegen – die Vorfreude, die Erwartung, die Spannung, das Geheimnis, das nur noch 3x schlafen, das Staunen, die Erfüllung der Wünsche, die Wärme, die Liebe und Geborgenheit im Kreise der Familie.
Also hat Weihnachten eigentlich immer etwas mit Kindern zu tun – vielleicht mit dem Ursprung, dem Kind in der Krippe und mit dem Kind in uns.
Weihnachten hat vor allem etwas mit Liebe zu tun, mit Güte und Verständnis, mit Zärtlichkeit und Ermutigung, mit geöffneten Armen.
Weihnachten hat etwas mit Neuanfang zu tun – mit unseren eigenen kleinen Schritten heraus aus dem Alltag, heraus aus der Erstarrung – hin zum Licht.
Das ursprüngliche Ereignis der Heiligen Nacht erinnert uns an unsere älteste Aufgabe: Mensch zu werden. Das werden wir nicht automatisch durch unsere Geburt. Menschsein muss wachsen und reifen, damit es Hand und Fuß bekommt. Nehmen wir doch Weihnachten als Einladung wieder einmal ganz Mensch zu werden – für die Anderen zum Segen.
Miteinander leben und füreinander da sein, einander Gutes zukommen lassen – auch über Generationen und Grenzen hinweg – und über das ganze Jahr hindurch.
So einfach klingt das – und ist doch so schwer.
Weihnachten verbindet man mit besonderen Orten mit besonderen Menschen.
Wir freuen uns für Sie der besondere Ort sein zu dürfen und dass Sie unsere ganz besonderen Menschen sind.

We so look forward to Christmas.
It must be memories of childhood: the anticipation, expectation and excitement; the subsequent wonder at wishes mysteriously fulfilled, and all the while immersed in the warmth and security of a loving family. The holiday season is above all associated with love, benevolence and understanding; the tenderness and encouragement of our young ones, and our unquestioning acceptance of them with open arms
Christmas has always been associated with children – beginning with the proverbial child in a manger, and ending in the child within each of us. It is a period of rebirth: an opportunity to forge new beginnings, a chance to take a few small, enlightened steps that together can bring about a larger change in an otherwise inured daily routine.
The story of the Holy Night serves to remind us of our altruistic nature. Compassion, however, is not something that we are born with; it is something that grows and matures within each of us as we grow into empathetic human beings. Let us take this Christmas Season to remind us once again to act upon our compassionate nature so that others may follow our example.
Let us remember how to peacefully coexist, how to be there for one-another and how to do Good unto others. And do this, not just for one week, but throughout the year. It sounds so easy, but the reality is much harder…
Memories of Christmas festivities with loved ones bind us to those special places where we celebrated. We look forward to being that special place for you this Winter.
